MySpec is the SOTA Spec-Driven Development platform built for modern engineers, indie builders, and AI coding agents. Turn messy ideas and prompt chaos into structured PRDs, technical architecture, and execution-ready blueprints for Cursor, Claude Code, and Windsurf. While AI tools have made code generation faster than ever, builders still face prompt chaos, vague product requirements, context loss across chats, and unstable code from unclear prompts. MySpec solves this by putting architecture, systems thinking, and structured specifications before the first line of code is written. Through intelligent, iterative developer interviews, MySpec transforms raw concepts and scattered notes into complete specification bundles: • Structured PRDs (Product Requirements Documents) with EARS+ acceptance criteria • Technical architecture blueprints & system designs • Real-time rendered Mermaid diagrams (ERDs, sequence flows, state charts) • Step-by-step tasks.md implementation plans designed specifically for AI coding agents Whether you are planning an MVP from scratch or practicing "vibe coding" with strict architectural guardrails, MySpec provides the single source of truth that keeps your AI models grounded, cuts hallucination, and eliminates prompt fatigue. Stop rebuilding from broken prompts—plan with MySpec and build with confidence.

Problem it solves

The core idea is spec-driven development for AI coding agents. Instead of prompt-and-pray, MySpec conducts a discovery interview with the developer, stress-tests the requirements, and compiles clean markdown specs for tools like Cursor and Claude Code.

How it's different

The biggest challenge with long-horizon coding tasks has always been maintaining architectural intent. Pushing the new reasoning capabilities to see how reliably we can turn raw ideas into airtight implementation plans before anyone writes a single line of code.

Tools this endpoint exposes

Read with a maker-supplied probe credential on 1 Oct 2026. Calling the endpoint requires your own credentials.

  • list_projects

List or search MySpec projects in the API token's organization. Returns `total` and, when more records remain, `next_offset`.

  • get_project

Get details for a project including all active spec sessions, files (id + metadata), and attachments (id + metadata).

  • create_project

Create a new project. Returns the created project id and metadata.

  • update_project

Update a project's metadata (name, description, project_type). Returns the updated metadata.

  • archive_project

Archive a project (sets status to "archived"). Idempotent: archiving an already-archived project succeeds.

  • unarchive_project

Unarchive a project (sets status to "active"). Idempotent: unarchiving an already-active project succeeds.

  • delete_project

Soft-delete a project. Only a project that is already archived can be deleted. If the project is still active, this tool refuses and you must NOT archive it on the user's behalf to make the deletion g

  • list_spec_file

List a project's spec files with id, path, and metadata (revision count, file size of the latest revision, file type, owning session, last update). Filter to a directory with `path` (exact file or eve
