Switch your audio, track Claude Code and Codex, push to GitHub and see sales live, all from your Mac
Problem it solves
Switching audio output on a Mac is buried in the menu bar or Sound settings, and it takes several clicks every time AirPods, a monitor or speakers connect. NotchAbove puts it in the notch: glance to see where your sound is going, then one tap or a hotkey to switch.
How it's different
Other notch apps, like NotchNook, Alcove and Boring Notch, just show what's playing. NotchAbove controls your audio. It's the only one that switches output from the notch, with volume for each device, one-tap scenes and auto-switching when a device connects.
Features
- Switch audio output in one tap,
- Set any device's volume before you switch to it,
- Push and pull to GitHub from the notch,
- Claude Code and Codex limits, live,
- Watch your Dodo sales come in,
- Eye breaks that wait until you stop typing,
- Lyrics that scroll along with your song,
- Join your next meeting straight from the notch,
- Pomodoro, countdown and stopwatch, all running at once,
- Drop a file on the notch and grab it later,
- Type "100 usd to eur" and get the answer,
- A cat that peeks out to keep you company
