• get_map_spec

  How squidmaps map documents are written: the map, its features, and how they're styled. Read it before writing a map for create_map.

• create_map

  Make a squidmaps map from a map document, and get its link, which works for an hour after it was last changed. The person opens the link to see the map and add it to their account. Returns an editToke

• update_map

  Replace a map made with create_map with a changed map document: the whole document, not just what changed. Its link stays the same, and keeps working another hour. Fails once someone has added the map

• preview_map

  A picture of a map made with create_map, as its link shows it, to check how it looks: where things are, their styles, its title panel and legend. 1200×630 by default, the shape most people see it in.
